6 cl. of Carlos I
1.5 cl. simple syrup
A few drops of Angostura bitters
7 mint leaves
Using a mortar and pestle, crush the mint leaves directly in the glass. Then add the Angostura bitters and crushed ice. Lastly, add Carlos I and stir intensely.
Prepare in a Julep glass and garnish with a sprig of mint and an orange peel.
