Very intense dark mahogany colour with a golden rim and opulent legs, the result of great ageing.
A wondrous balance between freshness and intensity, with candied citrus and spices giving way to minerality of exceptional elegance.
Tremendously smooth on the palate, while offering an explosion of aromas of ginger, nutmeg, sandalwood, and lavender honey, with a never-ending finish that leaves complex notes of liquorice and noble wood.
A fine crystal tulip glass with a tall stem is possibly the best option to enjoy this brandy, although a rocks glass or even the classic brandy balloon are always good choices. If you decide to serve it with a cube of ice, it could mute the aromas, but in the case of a brandy of this category it will never completely cancel them out.
Ideal to take with dark chocolate, nuts, dried figs or cured cheeses.
